The future of Adam and Joe is still not looking good

In an earlier post I’ve talked about how Joe Cornish is unsure about the future of Adam and Joe.

Now, from reading an interview in DYI from earlier in May this year, it seems like Adam Buxton feels the same way. Cornish’s success as a writer and director might be the end of his success as a comedian and presenter.

What’s next once this stint of Adam and Joe finishes?
I don’t know man; I hope we can do more. We’re playing it by ear, but it doesn’t look that good. It’s getting harder and harder to meet our schedules. Joe’s film schedule means he’s unavailable for long periods of time. I’m always around and he isn’t, so it gets a bit unworkable. For me, there are always fingers in the pie, but so far I’ve not plucked out any plums. BUG is working great, so I’m going to do more. It’s really fun, but I admit I do miss Joe.

  2. Yeah, it totally sucks! Adam and Joe are the best thing on the radio but it was clear the divide between Joe’s activities and Adam’s activities was getting wider and wider. The will be sorely missed. I’m sure there will be some other manifestation of the Adam and Joe double act in the future though.
